Welcome to Our Practice

Churchtown Medical Centre has a patient list size of approximately 10,000 and is open 5 days a week.  The practice has 4 full-time salaried GPs, 1 part-time salaried GP, 1 full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner, employs occasional part-time locum GPs, 3 part-time practice nurses, 2 healthcare assistants and 21 non-clinical administration and reception staff.

Mental Health Awareness Week

NHS South Sefton and NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Groups, Sefton Council and Living Well Sefton are supporting Mental Health Awareness Week by encouraging local residents to be kind to their mind. This Mental Health Awareness Week, 18-24 May, the theme is kindness, which research shows is strongly linked to good mental health. Kindness connects people and communities, and which combats isolation and boosts people’s moods. Being kind to others makes us feel good and lifts the spirits of those who receive acts of kindness.
